Graham Squires is Associate Professor and Head of the Property Group at Massey University.  He has a PhD from the University of Manchester.  His research interests include property, urban economics and finance, international real estate, and affordable housing.

As a result of her own personal experience and with degrees in commerce and taxation, Hannah has a burning ambition to assist other New Zealanders get ahead in life faster. 

 

Steve Watson

Steve is the National Manager, Investigations and Compliance (Tenancy Services).  The Compliance and Investigation officers monitor and enforce compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act 1986.  Steve will talk about some of the situations where ongoing breaches have been identified and how a number of interventions and enforcement activity tool place to ensure the landlords concerned complied with their obligations under the Act.

Glenn is Head of Mortgages at ANZ, New Zealand’s largest bank and our principal sponsor of the Conference. Glenn will provide us with a timely view of what is happening within the New Zealand housing market, why macro-prudential tools are being used by the Reserve Bank of NZ and effect they are having.
